Description

Hombo Shuzo's mountain whisky distillery (also called Mars Komagatake), built in 1985 at 798 meters on the slopes of Mt. Komagatake in the Central Alps -- Japan's highest-altitude whisky distillery; mothballed from 1992 to 2011 amid a domestic whisky slump before resuming production.
