Description

Charles Nelson's original Green Brier Distillery ran from 1860 to 1909 in Robertson County, Tennessee, once one of the country's largest Tennessee whiskey producers before state prohibition shut it down; his great-great-great-grandsons Andy and Charlie Nelson revived the family recipe, launching sourced Belle Meade Bourbon in 2012-13 and opening a new Nashville distillery in Marathon Village on November 23, 2014.
