Founded in 1997 by college friends Brett VanderKamp and Jason Spaulding in Holland, Michigan; added spirits production in 2005 on a Prohibition-era pot still, becoming one of Michigan's first post-Prohibition distilleries and the maker of Zeppelin Bend American Single Malt and the Dragon's Milk bourbon and beer brand.

A high-barley-mash bourbon aged in new American oak, then finished 90 days in barrels previously used for New Holland's Dragon's Milk stout, itself aged in ex-bourbon barrels; one of the first beer-cask-finished bourbons on the market when introduced in 2013.
A double-distilled rye whiskey aged in new American oak, then finished in Dragon's Milk stout barrels, following the same beer-cask finishing process New Holland pioneered with its Beer Barrel Bourbon.
