Founded in 2011 by Brooklyn Brewery co-founder Tom Potter, his son Bill Potter, and spirits expert Allen Katz, opening in Williamsburg that December as one of the first distilleries in New York City since Prohibition; known for its Dorothy Parker and Perry's Tot gins and Ragtime Rye whiskey, made from New York State-grown rye.
