Named for legendary Appalachian moonshiner Marvin 'Popcorn' Sutton, who died in 2009; his handmade whiskey recipe was carried on that year by Jamey Grosser and Hank Williams Jr., who built a 50,000-square-foot distillery in Cocke County, Tennessee, near Sutton's original stomping grounds. Acquired by the Sazerac Company in December 2016.
