Description
Founded by Alex Toomy, Chris Sarpy, and Russell Nance on a farm in the Ragged Mountains outside Charlottesville (sources differ on the exact founding year, giving both 2010 and 2014), working with the late master distiller Dave Pickerell to develop its mash bill; grows its own grain and has since relocated its distillery and bottling operations to Augusta County, Virginia.
