Founded in 2014 by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward, and Ian McDougall, reviving whisky-making in Glasgow for the first time in over a century; named for the city's original Dundashill distillery, founded in 1770 and long since closed, the modern distillery filled its first cask on March 5, 2015 and released its inaugural 1770 Glasgow single malt in 2018, alongside Makar gin and Banditti Club rum.
