Founded in 2008 by Tom and Lianne Herbruck on a 115-acre Northeast Ohio family farm, Ohio's second legal distillery since Prohibition; began with applejack on a 30-gallon still before acquiring the historic Michter's Jug House pot stills from Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania, in 2011, and now grows much of its own corn and rye, aging spirits in an unheated rickhouse through the region's snowbelt seasons.
