Description
Founded in early 2012 by husband-and-wife team Daric Schlesselman (a former Daily Show video editor) and architect Sarah Ludington in a former paint factory in Red Hook; named for Cornelius Van Brunt, one of Brooklyn's original Dutch settlers, and sourced wheat, rye, and corn from upstate New York farms for its bourbon, rye, and single malt whiskeys. Closed for good in 2025 after 13 years, with the space taken over by Brooklyn Gin.
