Description

A blended Scotch whisky house tracing to 1844, when James Whyte managed the firm of Allan & Poynter in Glasgow; Whyte and Charles Mackay launched their own proprietary blend, Whyte & Mackay Special, after formally partnering in 1882. Now owned by the Philippines-based Alliance Global Group (Emperador), the company also owns The Dalmore, Jura, Fettercairn, and Tamnavulin single malt distilleries, whose spirit contributes to its signature triple-matured blend of 41 whiskies.
