Ohio's first microdistillery, founded by Don Outterson, who licensed a winery in January 1999 before proposing legislation with an Ohio state senator to create the state's original A3(a) craft-distilling permit; a true one-man operation making three barrels a year of five-grain bourbon and peated and unpeated single malt on a hand-built pot still, alongside wines and meads, in a converted 1930s bank building.
