Founded on April 25, 1961 by the Robertson sisters (Elspeth, Agnes, and Ethel 'Babs'); not a distillery itself, but a privately owned Scotch whisky company that owns The Macallan, Highland Park, and The Glenrothes distilleries, along with The Famous Grouse and Cutty Sark blends.
