Description
Formed on December 4, 2000 through the merger of Stellenbosch Farmers' Winery and Distillers Corporation; not a distillery itself, but was one of South Africa's largest beverage groups, owning the James Sedgwick Distillery (maker of Three Ships and Bain's whisky). Acquired by Heineken in 2023 and folded into the newly formed Heineken Beverages.
