Description

Founded in 2005 by William Wemyss, whose family has held Wemyss Castle in Fife for over 800 years; not a distillery itself, but an independent bottler known for flavor-led blended malts such as Peat Chimney and Spice King. The Wemyss family separately owns Kingsbarns distillery in Fife, purchased and completed by a sister company, Wemyss Distillery Ltd., in 2013-15.
