Description
Founded in 1998 by Mark Andrews as Great Spirits LLC, built around his family's Knappogue Castle Irish whiskey; reorganized as Castle Brands Inc. in 2003 and traded on NYSE American until 2019. Not a distillery itself, but a marketer of premium spirits brands including Jefferson's Bourbon, Clontarf Irish whiskey, and Gosling's rum; acquired by Pernod Ricard in October 2019 and now operated as an indirect wholly owned subsidiary.
