    From Kanosuke's very first distilling season (180 total barrels: 100 recharred ex-shochu, 50 ex-bourbon, 30 Oloroso sherry), this cask-strength single malt highlights the sherry-cask component alongside the shochu and bourbon barrels. Kanosuke's founder is a fourth-generation shochu maker whose grandfather created the world's first barrel-aged shochu in 1957; the whisky's initial maturation in recharred shochu casks is a direct link to that heritage. Won Double Gold at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
