Description

Houston's first legal whiskey distillery, founded in 2010 by Tomball, Texas natives Troy Smith and Ryan Baird along with partner Randy Whitaker; started in a 1,500-square-foot warehouse in Pinehurst before moving into Houston proper, launching its whiskey brand in 2012 and using the city's hot, humid climate to accelerate maturation. Named for the legendary Yellow Rose of Texas, Emily West.
